A common misconception is that it is hard for regular middle class people who aren't business owners to implement Alternative Energy into their lives. As each day passes, this becomes more and more untrue as exciting products hit the market. Today, it's not too difficult for anyone with a little electrical knowledge to set up and install a Solar Panel in their backyard to power Lights, a Fountain, a Giant Santa Claus, whatever you'd like.

Interesting Facts About Wind Power

- Enron, which went bankrupt in late 2001, owned one of the largest manufacturing companies of Wind Turbines, Enron Wind Power Services. It was bought out by GE and it's assets put under their GE Power brand

- A proposed offshore wind farm on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket sound (link) would use 130 wind turbines to produce 420 Megawatts of energy.
